UPDATE (December 14th, 2009)
After offering to no longer allow the follow operation (but still allow unfollow, list generation, etc.) Twitter has said that even manually unfollowing a group of your own followers is against their rules. Everything TwiPing does requires manual steps, it does nothing automated except make some repetitive actions easier. I would rather they punish abusive users than the application vendor, but they have chosen to revoke my application's Twitter account. As I mentioned on the 9th, this means if you have more than a few thousand friends and followers, TwiPing can only provide limited functionality.
UPDATE (December 9th, 2009)
Twitter has suspended the TwiPing development account that is used when you have a large number of friends/followers for TwiPing to download (over 8,000 combined). They originally bumped the limit on the TwiPing account when I registered the application. Unfortunately they have changed their mind and disabled my account. As such, users of TwiPing with larger followings will likely no longer be able to refresh their friend/follower lists without running through their own account's hourly Twitter limit. That also means limited TwiPing functionaly for any features that use your entire list of friends or followers (finding people who stopped following you, for example).
